Introduction to Bikerafting

The Recap

We partnered with The Bicycle Coalition of Maine and Katahdin Area Trails to offer a slightly wetter route the Thursday before the Rambler.

After introductions and reviewing the plan for the day, we worked together to load the provided boats and paddling equipment onto everyone’s bike, and started to ride to find some water. Our ride was a nice mix of pavement on the Baxter Park Road and logging roads on the way to Omaha Beach. At the beach we inflated the boats and covered attaching your bike to the boat. Our trip down river even had a little bit of lining, to spice things up.
